Murder of Brandon Boone

During the earlier morning hours of November 27, 2014 (Thanksgiving Day), 24-year-old Brandon Boone was shot and killed at Divine Stylez-n-Cutz Barbershop, located at 609 W. 22nd Street, in Anderson, Indiana. Preliminary reports indicated that two masked men entered the barbershop just before 2:00 a.m. armed with a handgun and baseball bat and demanded money. Boone’s brother, Jaysson Streaty, was hospitalized with blunt force trauma. The owner of the barbershop, James Hurd, was present during the attack, but was uninjured. The case is actively being investigated by the Anderson Police Department.
